My name is Misty Rupprecht, and I am a buyer here at Valley Vet Supply. I purchase mainly equine supplies, but also some farm and small pet supplies. I married my husband, Jim, 17 years ago, and we have 4 daughters...YES - 4 DAUGHTERS!!!! Their ages are 4, 6, 10, and 12. Something we as a family are very passionate about is the county fair and our fair animals!! We do not live on a farm, but our home place (a tiny little town that sits right on the Nebraska/Kansas line) definitely “looks” like a small farm from about March until about Mid July. From bucket calves, to rabbits, to goats and chickens...okay - so maybe more like a small petting zoo!!! As I begin my first blog, our county fair is only 2 weeks away. Our newest and “funnest” fair purchase this year is the new “decorative” show sticks (60" Cattle Show Stick, 54" Patterned Cattle Show Stick and 60" Patterned Cattle Show Stick). Pink leopard for my 10 year old diva, and lime green for my 12 year old who likes to “stand out” a bit. As we get closer to fair time, I will be sharing many of the other items our “fair box” holds.
To other members of our family, YES - BOTH GIRLS ALSO, are our 2 dogs. Lillie-Bell is a Yorkie-Poo and a whopping 3 lbs sopping wet and fully grown. Roxie is a blue heeler who between you and me would not hurt a fly, but our mailman is CONVINCED he would lose a leg if he dared entering our home with a package in our absence. Not a bad thing!!! I will also be sharing with you our favorite pet toys, foods, treats, clippers, etc. Misty
