He is often called on by professional organizations to present his team approach to addressing lameness issues and equine soundness. Dr. Hickman has worked extensively with horse wellness issues as Assistant Medical Director for the Louisiana Racing Commission, overseeing 4 tracks and 16 veterinarians.
